Maurice Blum - A brief comment

At we take pride in being unbiased. We thrive to be true to our policy by comparing watches likes for likes.

It is, in fact, rather frustrating that no one in the media has ever been willing to carry out proper research and print articles on value for money timepieces comparing one brand against another, for example.

Some brands live on past acclaims and, if it was suggested that they were good a few years ago, new policies, quality control and poor value on productions may have made these brands less reliable than others. On occasion, cost cuts have made some brands actually cheap and nasty.

A brand that has attracted our attention recently is Maurice Blum. A watch with a good quality automatic movement, sapphire glass, 316L steel case, day-date and/or moonphase for below £400. Also, available, there are Tourbillion models that, even at a few thousands pounds per piece are still well below current models proposed by the competition.

One cannot find any faults, at the moment, on the way that this brand has been presented to us. Thanks to the quality in which these watches are made, we reckon that they are most certainly the best value for money watches on the current market. One can only hope that their growing fame will not compromise future quality and prices.
